The photo at the top right of his page is of his assistant. she looks good, but it is too bad I didn't get the same result. This doctor is inconsistent as you can see some have have good results, others, like me have been ruined. Remember if you are ruined, like me - don't wait to sue him. The law only gives you 2 years. However, I suggest not taking the risk in the first place. Have NO DOUBT this is a real reviews and he RUINED my smile and I had to go to another surgeon to have his work redone. Unfortunately NO ONE could fix my smile. Every single day I look in the mirror and am sick that he ruined not just my smile, but my beauty!!!!!! DO NOT TAKE THE RISK WITH THIS MAN.

Do not risk your face to this doctor! There are many doctors. Do NOT go to him. You have been warned. He offered to redo - he RUINED MY SMILE AND THIS CAN NEVER BE FIXED. He ruined my face and even though I had someone else fix a few things, I will never be as beautiful as I was prior to going to him. He ruined my looks. You have been warned.

Results after a year - jowling worse than when I went in and a smile that is forever compromised.

I would suggest you keep looking. I can't recommend this doctor.

I have had to have a revision only 1.5 years after my surgery He changed the shape of my face and I was already jowling again and had been for several months. Nothing went wrong surgically, but I was never happy and could not totally put my finger on it. I have now had to spend another $10K, but have my face back. My face is oval, not square and the fullness in my lower face is not a youthful look. Chords are showing in my neck and that too, is not a youthful look. I have my face back. I would not recommend him, although nothing went wrong surgically and he also sutured a cut on my face and there is no scar. I am now happy after have revision surgery with another doctor. I didn't have a neck left with the new Dr. and I should have as my neck now is WORSE than when I saw Pontell. I don't know what he does, but you really need to shop around! Another person said the SAME thing - she said it was like she didn't even have a FL. I was mine was that good - MINE WAS WORSE THAN BEFORE THE LIFT AND MY SMILE IS TOTALLY RUINED. THERE WERE PROBLEMS IMMEDIATELY AFTER SURGERY AND THEY NEVER WENT AWAY.... I REALLY REALLY REGRET WASTING MY MONEY!!! I DON'T KNOW HOW THESE PEOPLE GET AWAY WITH SUCH BAD WORK. I WOULD LIKE TO SUE THAT IS HOW BAD... CAN YOU IMAGINE GOING IN AND WITHIN A YEAR LOOKING OLDER THAN BEFORE YOU SPENT 10k AND LOST YOUR LOVELY SMILE?! RUN, DO NOT WALK FROM THIS DOCTOR. SURE, THEY ARE NICE, BUT WHEN YOU ARE JOWLING AND YOUR SMILE IS RUINED.... NOT A DOCTOR I WOULD EVER RECOMMEND. AND HE SUGGESTED THAT WITHIN THOSE FEW MONTHS I HAD SOMEHOW AGED RAPIDLY.... GIVE ME A BREAK.
