Hi!
I recently had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Kassir in his Wayne NJ location and I wanted to share my experience. The surgery went smoothly and the recovery was quick to my surprise. I am absolutely in-love with my results. My nose has always been my biggest insecurity and now feel I don't have to hide behind my hair.
I have wanted a rhinoplasty since I was in middle school. I was always scared of under going surgery and becoming a botched victim. But at 24 years old I decided to grow some balls and just go for it :). I researched many doctors and came across Dr. Kassir. I was impressed with his overall experience, certifications, before/ after patients results, and his artistic perspective.
My nose was too masculine for my face. It had a unflattering lump, slight dropping of the tip, maxillary sinus problems, and a deviated septum. I under went surgery 7/23/15. The surgery was about an hour and thirty minutes long. I remember being brought to the surgical room and then (it left like 10 minutes later) I woke up in the recovery room. Going to the dentist was seriously more dramatizing..lol After I woke up I was able to leave about 40 minutes later.
My recover was actually very quick. I was nervous it would interfere with my ability to work. I took two weeks off of work and that was more than enough time. I had slight bruising and swelling which faded away before I started working. Dr. Kassir recommended various supplements and homeopathic meds to prepare for surgery and even after surgery. Which I believe helped with my fast recovery. I find my results to be very natural and balance my face well. People that didn't know I had the surgery asked me if I did something different with my hair. My friends and family absolutely love my results.
I feel I have over thought and scared myself about getting this procedure throughout the years. I am so glad I did not wait any longer and had it done now. Overall, I feel more confident and beautiful. I could not have asked for better results. Thank You, Dr. Kassir:)
