i was told i was the perfect candidate for this procedure as long as i did the upper and lower abs. the rep mislead me about results and since i signed a form indicating results were not guaranteed, they will not refund my money. it was painful with no results. i am disputing the charge with care credit.

if this doesn't work i'll be forced to go to the local media and share my experience. now that i have gone thru this procedure i can only see it working on women that only have a very small amount of fat that needs to be removed. when they saw the size and amount of belly fat i had, they should have been honest and told me i was not a good candidate.

May I ask if your provider was a licensed plastic surgeon? Also, how long has it been for you? I am sorry to hear you had such an bad experience. I am about 3+ weeks post up on my chin/neck and jowls and just starting to see some results, but still swollen and a few hard lumps. If is has been a short amount of time under 6 months, try and be patient the results will hopefully come. All the research I have done and it has been many hours - everywhere you can imagine, results take an average of 3-6 months and sometimes up to a year.

I have to agree with NewNeckinCA. I had large thighs with a lot of cellulite and elected to have a full thigh job done (front, back, inside, outside) on 7/1. The doctor repeated several times that final results are often not evident for up to 8 mos. I experienced severe swelling, bruising, numbness and discoloration during the first couple of days. The swelling and bruising abated around week 2, numbness began to go away during the 3rd month, but I still have some discoloration and some scar tissue, small lumps and slightly loose skin. My doctor has provided a series of LipoEx treatments (I go for #7 tomorrow) at no cost to me to help smooth out the remaining lumps, break down the scar tissue and hopefully tighten up the remaining loose skin. I had 8,000 cc's removed from my thighs, and from what I understand, thighs are the most difficult area to work on and recover from. By 2.5 mos I had lost 20 lbs and am wearing a size 6. My friends can't believe how much better I look, and for the first time in years I don't feel embarrassed about the size of my thighs. Sorry, I know I've gotten a little long winded, but I would suggest that you hang in there and those of us who've been there will pray that you see better results soon.

nicole1984...Have patience! Remember it is a very traumatic experience for you body and you WILL swell...a lot! It took me nearly a year before my swelling went away for good, and a solid 6 months for the results to really show. Also, bromelaine really helps with the swelling, and lots of water!

I am thinking about the procedure, but I know that it takes time because I had the liposuction done. I truly don't think I was a candidate at the time, but now I really dont. Are there any suggestion on size etc that shouldn't have this procedure done?
