Waited Too Long - C'mon Flat Side !! - Washington

I can't tell you how satisfying it is to not have the drain tubes anymore !!! I sleep better, walk better, etc. I am feeling super good and my scar looks very good even though I need to keep it taped for about 2-4 more weeks. Can start showering tomorrow and change tape once a week. I'm also off the antibiotics - so, no meds at all. I still have strict instructions to lay low - take it easy - and I'm ok with that :). Will be back to work in just a couple days but they know I will be slow and tired for awhile until I heal better. Don't really have much else to say other than I am so glad I finally did this !!!! As promised, here are a few photos.

TUBELESS !!!!!! Hurt like crazy - but they are out and I feel so much better !!!! Can shower in 48 hours and will post photos then. Have a great weekend!!!!

Been a few days since my last update. I'm making really good progress - weaned myself off all pain meds during the day and am down to one at night. My goal is to hopefully be off that by the end of the weekend. Have an appointment on Friday afternoon (2 more days) to get drain tubes out - WOW, will that ever be a happy day!!!!! I will take more photos after that and give another update. THANK YOU to those of you who have/are following me. I appreciate the support !!!
