“Juvederm on Upper Face, Lips and Nasal Folds - Won't Ever Do It Again!”

I had juvaderm on my upper face, lips and nasal folds. I liked my lips the way they were, my my Dr. convinced me they could be better. He said I should have 40% upper and 60% lower lip. I now have the opposite. My upper lip was slightly larger than my lower lip with age but it wasn't too apparent. My nasal folds were not too bad and the tear areas didn't bother me. I looked fine for my age.

I now have a much larger upper lip, reshaped, my lower lip has become smaller looking because the upper lip is so much larger than it used to be and my face looks fat because of the upper injections. I have high cheek bones naturally but they are hidden by the fat looking cheeks I now have.

I had botox in the forehead and I have lumps and bruises where the injections were made. My face is different on each side and terribly bruised still after 4 days.

I am grateful this is temporary and I will never use any of this stuff again. I look like a cartoon character of my previous self. I liked the way I looked but after talking to the Dr. I thought I looked bad. I only went there for a mild skin peel and a bit of Botox in the forehead. Unless you have real problems I wouldn't do this stuff.
