I hate to say it, but this was $300 wasted. Nothing bad happened, but nothing good happened either. My skin looks the exact same in my opinion, and the slight differences that I do notice definitely weren't worth $300 bucks. I go back for the microdermabrasion (purchased as part of a package for a total of $400) on Saturday. Hopefully that will make a difference so I don't feel completely jipped for wasting that kind of money on literally nothing :(

Ok, I'd officially like to change my rating. I went and got the microdermabrasion today and my skin looks gorgeous! I guess I was expecting over night results, which I didn't get. But two weeks later here I am and I am quite pleased with the results. I will likely get the combo peel and microdermabrasion again, because I need both, but I am going to shop around to see if I can find it somewhere cheaper. I will try to add pics soon....

Great review?

hi Ayana, I go to Radiance Med Spa as well for velashape treatments, and yesterday the French woman at the Dupont location (I can't remember her name) sold me on this combo package of VI Peel and Silkpeel/Microderm. Would you recommend it? May I ask if you are a woman of color, as I am have very fair skin with freckles and she said I had a lot of sun damage but its just my freckles so not sure if I should do it?
Hi there, yes I am AA and my skin is honey colored. It's been almost four months since the peel and my skin does look better overall. I know they probably gave you the computerized skin analysis which tells you how your skin (texture, wrinkles, sun damage) ranks compared to other women your age. I think the machine is rigged personally to pull in more money, but that's just me. My skin is looking good these days though, but I'm not sure I would attribute it to the peel considering it's been 4 mos. and I haven't gone back or used anything new on my skin. I doubt that I would pay that kinda money again though. Pretty steep considering the results aren't instant or guaranteed. Hope this helps some and check back if you remember, cause I'd love to know what you decide! Good luck :0)

That is great that you are pleased now!! I'm glad they had a good plan in mind for your particular skin type. Please keep us posted on how long the results last and what changes you see.

Looking forward to seeing your pictures!!

What a bummer to not see much change. Do you mind me asking what you were trying to treat (ie fine lines, brown spots, acne, etc.)?
