Disappointing.

Conclusion

So, I guess not everyone is a good candidate for Invisalign. I had a lot of issues with grinding my teeth, and my aligners popping out of my mouth at night. As a result, my teeth would shift. After a while, the aligners no longer fit. When the aligners didn't fit properly, my teeth would shift more. Eventually, I went back to the orthodontist and asked if there were any other options. I had already started over once before, and she said I could basically pay to start over again or pay for metal braces. I abandoned Invisalign, and within a month, my teeth looked exactly like they had when I started the process. Very disappointed, but moving ahead. I saw a different orthodontist who offered "invisible" fixed braces (ceramic tooth colored brackets) and will move forward with that.
