Hello All,
I am scheduled to have Laser Lipo on my lower/upper abs, flanks, and bra strap area on Jan 25, 2013. With American Lipo Centers in Virginia Beach, VA. I am super Excited and Nervous at the same time.I am 25 years old married, with no children.I am 5'4 and 147 pounds with a lot of extra weight in my stomach. For the past couple of years I have been so uncomfortable with my stomach area, and bra strap rolls, that it interfers with me daily while trying to dress. It has taken a toll on me and now I am financially able to do something about it.I have considered having the procedure done for about two years. Having this procedure will definitely help with my fitness and personal goals for my body. I am so ready to start working on the new me.

A week from today I am scheduled for my procedure. I am getting a little nervous. I am watching my sodium intake, drinking more water, and no alcohol. If anybody has any tips from there procedure please feel free to give an advice. Thanks

Hello All, I am just getting home from my procedure. It actually went very well not much pain at all. From 1-10 the highest pain level was a 5. The licodine shots was a small sting with a burning sensation that lasted about 3 secods. Then he took the laser to liquefy the fat. Couple minutes later came the fat suctioning part. I basically just felt pressure and a few parts were uncomfortable. The Dr. Gave me more numbing solution so that help out a whole lot. He even hit the flanks from the back and also while I was standing up to make sure everything was even. Dr. Segev kept me engaged in interesting conversations with the nurse and I. The nurse was very helpful asking if I was ok repeatedly. Afterwards she put me in a small garment with a binder. I felt great afterwards, not dizzy, nauseous or anything. I have follow up appointment on tomorrow. Very nice experience at American Lipo Centers.

Post Op Day 5: I had surgery on Friday stopped draining on Saturday. I did get light headed when changing the pads. I have been taking pain med about every 5 hours even though I haven't had hardly any pain the past two days. Taking my antibiotics, my incisions holes are scabbing I am putting Neosporin cream twice a day. My garment is actually not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. I only wear the binder at night. My results so far I can tell my lower belly is much flatter, my flanks are still swollen, not much change in the bra roll areas as of yet. I can tell my waist is getting smaller through the outline in my clothing. I am having my first lymphatic drainage massage on Thursday to help with swelling. Overall I am just going to be patient with the results. Still believe I made a good decision.

22 Days Post Op: I am feeling really good, results are improving daily. I hae been doing light exercise, watching what I eat and drinking water. My incisions are healing well color starting to come back. My lower abs are really flat. I am waiting for the bra strap area to go down alot more there are hard spots in them. I get a lymphatic massage once a week now that is helping. I am feeling more confident in my clothing especially fitted tops. I try to watch my salt intake to decrease swelling. Overall everything is going well and I am being patient waiting for more great results.

Hi, I am seven weeks post op now. My stomach is much flatter in the front. I seen minimal progress in my back area. I am starting with a Trainer on Monday to work on toning the areas up more. I am going to buy a personal hand massager for some of the few hard spots I do have. I am scheduled for a follow up in April with the Dr. Whom I haven't I seen since my surgery, previous follow up was done with a nurse. I have no major pain or complaints. Just waiting to see more results at the three month mark.

Hi I have noticed small improvements but still not gone down as much as I would like by now. It has been six weeks since my surgery. I will post pics this Friday.

Mine is doing do the same, but I just continue to wear the compression corset garment and I don't worry about the rest. It will take 6 months for us to really see the end results, so be patient and all will be well..........

Everyone's body is different, but doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Just make sure you are doing your part. Drink plenty of water, keep sodium intake at a medium, workout, and have realistic expectations, and I promise you will see more than what you expect. You will be fine just give yourself time to heal internally and it will show up physically. Thanks for commenting.....

Thanks size vary with the day. Still waiting on improvement from bra roll area. Its kind of frustrating.

Yeah i know. My problem is the fat up under my arms for some reason I'm not seeing improvement but it's all good. I hope you get the results you want soon.

You are looking great girly. your stomach is definitely getting flat....the bra line area will go down in small doses...mines is still going down after 13 weeks, but if it doesn't completely become flat, i'm considering getting my bra line redone when i get my flanks to get rid of residual fat. Keep up the good work!

Same here....Idk, I am going to wait out the 6 months and see where I'm at then, although I want to get all of this taken care of before Summer so I think I may go back sooner :) When I find out what i'm told over here Ill let you know :)
