I originally selected Dr. Oppenheim because he was an "in network" provider. I've had different insurance carriers over the years, but I still go to him whether he's "in network" or not. Most recently I visited him for a couple cherry angiomas. He had an intern working with him and he was very generous with his time. He consulted with her and in the process taught the intern (and me) a lot about what commonly causes these red dots, as well as some less common causes and their presence being possible indicators of more serious conditions. He's a recognized authority in diseases of the skin and has been published in several medical journals. I've been a patient of Dr. Oppenheim for close to 10 years. He's removed moles, treated skin rashes, given me a few botox treatments, and I can't say enough good things about him. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly an expert in his field. What do I wish I knew beforehand? That we had such a great practitioner right here in Va Beach.
