“Very Good Results, Better Than Restylane”

I had Juvederm injected into the corner of my mouth. I have a habit of quirking the left side of my mouth and it has actually pulled the skin down into a marionette line in the corner. The nurse at my surgeon's office told me it would work really well for that area. She had to put 1 unit (more than she expected) into the line. It REALLY hurt. The lip area is very sensitive and she even recommended having a block if I ever wanted to have my lips done. I did have swelling and bruising, however, I do bruise very easily. The results were instant. The line is still there, however, the Juvederm is under it so it doesn't have the marionette look anymore. It acutally looks upturned. I was very unhappy with the lumpy, hard feeling from Restylane. I am thinking about going back to have the small nasolabial folds injected, however, I just finished my third Fraxel and they recommended waiting six months to see the results of the collagen regeneration. Hopefully, I won't need the Juvederm by then.
