“Velasmooth does not work”

Velasmooth: NOT worth it

Cost: $2,000
Pain: Worst possible
Velasmooth satisfaction: Poor1 Star Rating: Poor

Like many women I'm willing to try anything to get rid of cellulite but Velasmooth - which I did exactly as required - did not work.

The technicians were reluctant to show me the before and after photos they did because frankly, we couldn't tell which was which. I did lose centimetres around my thighs which I didn't know would happen but I can do that with exercise and diet. I was very hopeful and optimistic but I should have known it wouldn't work - check out all the before and after photos on the internet; they are the same 2 or 3 sets of photos for all sites.

This works... I have no cellulite anymore...but one thing to keep in mind...you will not lose inches unless you exercise...you will be as chubby as ever...but I promise you that you will NOT have dimpling...your skin will be smooth...

My cellulite is going away since I started using a device with galvanic current and it is supposed to help stop cellulite from forming again. I haven't been using it that long so I don't know if the second part is true yet. So far it has done what it promised though. Its called the Galvanic Spa II and for some reason no one on Realself has tried it. It is brand new though. It not a procedure. Its a gadget that you have to use everyday for 10min. a day. I like that because just like exercise you have to work it off only it doesn't hurt or exhaust me like exercise. Its almost like ironing out your skin problems. You might want to think about trying it.

I have used Velamooth and it does work-however you must be commited to it for the full 16 visits. i saw resutls starting around the 8th visit and it got better quickly after that. By the time I was done I had a 90% reduction in cellultie (of which I had ALOT) The biggest problem with this treatmen-othe thant ime conusing is the maintainence. They say once a month or 2 months after your completeion to maintain but it is REALLy like 2 times a month once a month minimum. I let mine go so now all my cellultie is back and as bad as it was a year ago to the day from when i stared Velamooth, But last summer my legs looked great and i owrse shorts confortably. i will do it again this year starting next month.

I have had two treatments with Velashape from ALC, and I see no difference. I was told I would immediately-but that didnt happen. It is very painful around the area of my c section (over 8 yrs old) and I have bruising. I am going for my third session today and I am hoping for the best. And I was told that unless I go crazy eating, the results (which I have yet to see) will last for 2 years.

I had my first treatment with Velashape a week ago and I immediately lost 1 1/2 inches on my waist! I'm so excited to get the next three treatments! I was told that the difference between velasmooth and velashape is that velashape is more powerful and has a 4 treatment protocol wherein velasmooth- the older model- has a 12 treatment protocol. My technician asked me how many of the suction reps I could handle and then moved on - and repeated the area later so that it didn't hurt. The other thing that they told me about was a body kit by cosmedix. It's a l-retin-a treatment. Has anyone tried that?

We are considering adding Velashape (the newer one that should take 1-4 treatments) to our laser facility and would love to get some feedback from those who have had the treatments before we invest in one. Would you recommend it or is there another machine we would be investing in?

I have had 6 treatments and I am undecided on whether it was worth it or not. I did not have any circumference reduction at all due to the treatment. I was expecting more dramatic results. I want to see how much I will be spending to "maintain."

I had velasmooth last year with ALC only got to 10 treatments and was seeing some difference. I have not been back and I had purchased a maintenance package of 20 sessions. I called to come back and they said they had a new updated machine. I am not sure if it is the Amerismooth or the Velashape. She said they only sell packages for 4 treatments, so I am thinking it is the Velashape. I am hoping they will apply my balance to the new machine because they do a very high pressure selling and I have a lot of money invested, and I do not want to pay anymore. I do have a question for anyone is the Amerismooth they offer the same machine as the Velasmooth just a different name? Because I may have some recourse in getting a refund if they do not offer exactly what I had paid for. Any feedback would be great....Thanks.

I completed 6 treatments of Velashape about 3 weeks ago. It did absolutely nothing. I could not tell the difference between the before and after pictures. I wasn't expecting a miracle, but I thought I would see some reduction in cellulite and circumference. The areas I had treated were my thighs and Butt. I diet and go to the gym 5 days per week....so I was supposedly a good candidate. It was a complete waste of $1300. Save your money for lipo because Velashape does NOT work and it is quite painful!!!!
