I just had it done today, so long term effects...

I just had it done today, so long term effects will have to be seen. I researched it on here first and other sites and was actually looking into Smart Lipo.

The Dr. I chose felt Vaser would be better due to the amount of fat deposits I have in the areas I wanted treated. My stomach, love, or rather loveless handles, and inner thighs. I am afraid of having major surgery and felt this was a better alternative to a full blown tummy tuck. I previously tried a laser treatment to the outer area of my stomach that was supposed to help with the fat there but it only lightened my wallet instead!

The Dr. was very personable, listened to my concerns, and recommended the Vaser Lipo. His whole staff were very helpful and considerate. There were two assistants with him during the procedure, I felt this helped add to everything being done very efficiently and thoroughly.

I was terrified that it was going to involve alot of pain during the procedure and was grateful that it didnt. There were a few times a certain spot was sensitive and he then treated that area for the pain and went back to it. It even felt like a tickling sensation at some points instead of being painful. I saw the amount of fat that was removed and will be very surprised if I dont see good results when my body is done healing. I will update later.

Great review?

My Doctor: name not provided

He was warm and personable and listened to my concerns. He and his staff were thorough in explaining the procedure and pre treatment and post treatment. He was thorough in the procedure itself, taking his time to cover each area involved and make sure he did his best on each one.

Its been over a week and a half now. The incision sites are almost all healed, the bruising was very minimal, and most of the swelling has gone down. I am back to being able to do my normal exercises and most of the pain is gone. I have a concern about what I believe to be some fat that was not removed from below my navel. There are what appears to be two obvious lines, one on each side that have fat in them not swelling. I have a scar there that caused more pain in that area when the procedure was being done. I have seen the doctor for the first follow up visit and was told that if it needs touching up, it cant be done until 6 months have passed. My concern now is that it looks deformed and the other areas will heal but this one area may prevent the skin from being able to heal properly and tighten. I have felt very depressed about this, but knew that there were side effects and risks from any lipo procedures. I am hoping for the best and will update more later.
