Dr. Gabriel is the most amazing surgeon - you cannot go wrong with him. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2013 at 43 years of age. I had 6 tumors in my left breast, and no sign in my right. My care team suggested my left breast be removed, and I felt it best to give them the other. I was introduced to Dr. Gabriel and his team. After an in depth meeting with his incredibly knowledgable assistant and briefly meeting him, I felt at ease with the large procedure I was to undergo. With so many questions about my treatment left unanswered, I always felt confident that I was in the best care imaginable.
The day of my surgery, I was so scared. I met with Dr. Gabriel and Dr. Toni Storm-Dickerson, saw their team of familiar faces in the operating room and immediately felt reassured that all would be ok. I had constant contact with Dr. Gabriel's office during the first days after surgery. It has continued for the past 2 years, and I am so very thankful that it has.
I have taken my time with the various revisions that were necessary to reconstruct my breasts. I was in no hurry, and Dr. Gabriel and his staff were incredibly supportive during each surgery I have had. Due to being very large busted before my diagnosis, Dr. Gabriel entered me for a study of the new and improved implant. (Gummy Bear) And he was right! The implants are fantastic! I was so impressed with his dedication to me as his patient when he chose to work on New Years Eve/Day to switch out the spacers for my new implants. He has performed a few fat replacement surgeries, and he has constructed nipples as well. To me, my breasts look perfect! Dr. Gabriel is such a perfectionist!
I just saw him on December 29th, and we were both celebrating that I have finally finished my immediate treatment with him. I will return to see him in 6-months - I can't believe it. Truth be told, I am sort of sad that I won't be seeing him and his fantastic staff for a while. I will be researching tattoos in the next few months.
In summary, I cannot imagine where I would be with my treatment if I had not been introduced to Dr. Gabriel. He is a detail-oriented, strong-willed, down-to-earth, humorous, positive, personable and professional doctor, surgeon and artist. If you are searching for a plastic surgeon, you owe it to yourself to have a consultation with him.
