bad news, chin implant was infected and removed

following up with my previous post, things just gotten worse,, started bleeding, then some redness appeared. Dr checked me two days ago and was so very caring then he kept a close eye on the matter and asked me to continue with the anti-biotic till i see him again in two days, which was today, as i saw him, he checked the area, there was more bleeding and he was certain an infection was there and suggested an immediate removal. i agreed and we pulled the implant off, it was so painful that id rather not tell how scary and painful it was, but it had to be done, they did local freezing so i was up watching. omg horror. but it had to be that way, and now that it is over and out I'm happy we didn't need full anaesthesia or anything, it took about half an hour to remove it, I'm in so much LESS pain than when i had the impact on. I'm reflecting and re-evaluating what the next step shall be, whether to get it back on in few months or accept my chin the way it is. this will need time to determine.

just last thing, i reallllllly have to thank Dr Denton and his staff for such caring and loving relation they have with their patients, throughout the whole experience, they were always recomforting and reassuring me of everything. they were so generous and are not the kind of people who like your money more than you, they really put me first before everything else, having the chin infected was not their problem, it is sadly something that some people have reacting to new stuff to the body, i was unfortunate to have it but i did nevertheless and i won't regret, gotta accept and move forward.
i even forgot that i had a rhinoplasty, i will look at my nose and start caring now that chin is hopefully over, i will go back to Dr office tomorrow as he wanted to quickly check to see how things are going in my chin.

possible infection in chin implant

hey, I'm unhappy and depressed today, went to the office to get the cast removed, but before the doctor did that he was checking my implant, and he hit a point in the left side which trigger lot of pain, Doctor figured that was an inflammation, he called it something i forgot what, as soon as i felt something is wrong my whole mode got turned up down. then he started checking the incision from inside the mouth and caught bleeding. which got me and him worried of possible infection. he got a sample and sent to to lab to check what bacteria is in the blood. and prescribed me steroid antibiotic for the other inflammation. so apparently the pain i had was an indication of something wrong. all I'm hoping and wishing for at this point is that things resolve in its own, no infection and no need to remove the implant. as for the nose we took the cast off, the nose is pretty swelling really so i feel i won't be fair describing or providing pictures of how it looks. but i will keep you guys updated in the coming days and week or whenever there is a milestone or questions from you. until late, wish me luck with this,, thanks and happy holidays to all of you
*Dr Andrew is such a gentleman, very likeable, honest and professional. i have only respect toward him and have no doubt he did best, perhaps if i done this somewhere else situations could have been worst. he cares about his patients heath so much, and he will be seeing me closely in the next while just to be sure about everything.

Chin implant hurts so much end of week one.

so tomorrow is the big day! cast will be off in about 12 hours,, yup,, so scared

this is the 6th day:

Rhino:
breathing improved to 85,, i think after cast off, and I'm thinking Dr will clean the inside, these should bring breathing back to normal, but will update you about it. not much else, bruising that appeared last night, disappeared today, no swelling, it's all good up there

Chin:
ahhhh,, so much pain, especially around 5am of every night, it would wake me up and id be shaking out of pain. unbearable, i don't think there is infection, but god! there are so many things that can go wrong with implants, i don't know why on earth i did it. i thought i had a great chin already, was told would look better and give more balanced look with rhino. I'm not blaming anyone, i took this choice and i hope from the bottom of my heart that i won't regret it. so far i can't smile, can't chew food, lower teeth is getting weaker, bottom jaw is getting sore. I'm so afraid my smile would look different, my smiles now look like pig, i had such a beautiful smile that would always get compliment about even with braces on,, but I'm still hoping.
