For years I was told by others that I looked tired. My eyes had bags under them all the time. At the age of 46 I decided to do something for myself and I took the lead and had lower eyelid surgery done. When the proceedure was done five weeks ago for baggy eyes I felt like I was in very capable hands...and I was. I returned seven days later to have the stitches removed and I returned to work after ten days. I put on a bit of makeup under the eyes and nobody asked me any questions. Now five weeks later there is still a tiny bit of swelling under the eyes and the incision lines are a bit red, but I am very happy with what I see and I have full confidence the healing will continue to a point where I am going to be so happy I went through with the procedure.

I had lower eyelid surgery done by Dr. Buonassisi about five weeks ago. I suffered for many years with bags under my eyes and people telling me I looked tired even when I wasn't. After years of frustration I shopped around for cosmetic surgery in Vancouver and after communicating with a number of cosmetic surgeons I found Dr. Bounassisi at 8West Costmetic Surgery and liked him and his staff from the start. From the initial email exchange to my first phonecall and in-person consultation I was very impressed with Dr. Buonassisi and all his support staff. I felt welcomed and all my questions were answered in a factual, no-nonsense way.
