Small breasts pretty much run in my family. I...

Small breasts pretty much run in my family. I never really thought much of it until I had one day decided to become healthier and change my lifestyle. Over time, I slowly but surely lost about 35 lbs and now my breasts were pretty much non existent ! I had to wear double push up bras all the time and never left the house without them. I finally decided to get my breast augmentation and now I am currently 15 days post op and I couldn't be any happier.

I'd have to say before getting this procedure, I did ALOT of research and watched a ton a videos so I thought I had a pretty good idea of how everything would go, and what to expect. I was definitely in a surprise as soon as I woke up from surgery. I have a few friends of mine, one in particular that had referred me to the same surgeon. She told me as soon as she woke up from surgery she just felt pressure and not alot of pain because of all the medication they gave her. I myself woke up in IMMENSE pain. I had felt a huge burning sensation all around and chest area and for some odd reason, my arms were aching with pain (which were in even more pain than my chest itself). The nurse had told me that it was probably from the position I was in when in surgery.

The next 3 days were pretty much hell for me. I wasn't able to stand for more than 30 seconds, my body ached from staying in one position all the time, and I couldn't make a bowel movement for about 5 days after surgery. On top of that I think my esophagus was irritated (probably because of the tube they stuck down my throat after surgery) so I wasn't able to eat or drink easily for about 6 or 7 days. As of now, I am now 15 days post op and I am feeling AMAZING and definitely back to normal. I am just feeling a little sore in the mornings.. Id have to say I was completely back to normal 8 days after surgery. I've read somewhere that it usually takes about 5 or 6 days for a patient to resume to their regular life but I think it took me a bit longer because I had chosen a larger implant.

I have heard so many breast augmentation stories but it's definitely different to actually experience it first-hand, because I know that everyone reacts differently to it. My breasts have dropped a bit but not a whole lot. They still have that odd torpedo effect from the side but I am noticing changes everyday and I am so thrilled to see them fully drop. I still have a long way to go but I think all the pain and agony was really worth it and so far they look awesome.
