$5,600

had webbed skin from day one where slin was connected from one aide to the other at the bottom. it was stretched so tight. i dont know why the doctor would have left it that way and when i asked him about it he said its swelling. im not a doctor but even i knew it was not right. now i will be spending twice as much money and having a difficult surgery by someone else to try to fix it. i wish i had of only gotten the lift and no implants or paid more money for a more qualified surgeon.

Thank you for sharing your story on RealSelf. I am so sorry to hear of your disappointing results. How many cc's did you end up getting? And how many weeks/months post op for this surgery? Does the doctor still say it's swelling? Hoping he is willing to correct the problem if it isn't swelling any longer. Keep us posted as to your progress and hang in there!

over 4 months post op. had 550 cc in one side 570 in other. saline under the muscle. the surgeon said he would fix it but not for free. he agrees that it is symmastia now and not swelling and that the only way to fix it is through surgery. i dont think i can trust him to fix it though. i need to know that its not going to come undone if i get a revision so i want to see someone who has done plenty of revisions. i am in the process of moving across the country right now and cant do anything about it yet.

I'm glad to hear your PS agrees it is no longer swelling, but I'm sorry to hear it's symmastia. Maybe it's providential that you're moving so you can get look into a different PS. I can understand why you would want a surgeon with experience in revisions. Are you moving east or west? Just trying to think of possible PS's. So sorry...hang in there and keep us posted!
