Had a horrible nose before. Large hump and very overprojected. After rhinoplasty, my nose improved from the profile but I am worried about the front.

Front view looks good in person - awful in photos. 6 months post-op rhinoplasty- in photos nose has a tube-like look and tip droops down from front view. Profile looks good, however. Will I need a revision? Will my front view improve?

i think you that if you are not completely happy with the results you should talk to your surgeon. also keep in mind that the results take anywhere from 12 months to 2 years to show. it takes time to get use to any dramatic changes to your face.

Initially when a very significant change is needed and desired, often a revision is needed, with the revision achieving a subtle change tho significant in effect. The doctor can petition insurance as scar tissue removal for example.

Unfortunately it seems many doctors planning and focusing only on the profile improvement (since most patients also has these kind of concerns). What they're not telling you, and you won't ask because you don't about this as a possible issue is that shaving down the bump will _drastically_ change the front view. My front view was elegant, nice, I liked it, but since my bump was shaved down, it looks like a tube from the front, like yours, or worst, because of uneven swelling. My nose is twice as wide from the front and from 3/4 views, thanks for the cartilage grafts were put to fill up 'irregularities'. Now I feel like a person who has a sausage in the middle of his head. I know how you feel, a normal front view should has curves the sides, or they should be slimmer toward the tip, etc. Otherwise it looks like an artifical sausage, by my opinion.
