now to make my back view as good as the front...
Feeling pretty darn good overall! I still have limits, and keep pushing to find them. Did treadmill twice now...started very slow (1.5 mph, 0 incline, 20 min), but no rebound swelling, so amped it up today (2 mph, 6.5 incline, 50 min) and broke a good sweat. Really want to go to the Y to do the elliptical, but today was Thanksgiving, so I must be patient.
Started scar therapy-- already think they're doing quite well, but a boost won't hurt. Getting random itchiness, too, so trying to remember to moisturize; winter's here, too, so I'm sure that's contributing.
Still extremely happy with my PS and his whole office. Holly is like my personal cheerleader...I feel good walking into the office, and even better by the time I'm leaving. So pleased with the results, and every day is better than the last. I can't believe it's only been a month!
I've been frequenting Wal-Mart more than I care to admit, but my size and shape keeps changing, and I want to keep wardrobe costs down until I settle into a size. Bought smaller pants the other day, and hubby laughed...he said, "People don't usually go to Wal-Mart to buy SMALLER clothes!" Could be true, but it was the best shopping trip I've had for awhile!
Continuing to keep my protein up, supplementing with vit D and C, bromelain, arnica, and copious amounts of green tea.
Overall, I'm super satisfied and happy with everything! Picked the right doc with great skills and a great team, the right procedures for me right now (although I do keep thinking of other improvements I could make...but first I'll see what exercise and proper diet can do for me), and I'm fortunate to have the right support from family and friends paired with the right amount of time off.

On the flat side! PO 11 today, feeling great, all things considered. Some discomfort, but rarely pain. Moved out of my recliner (yay!). Big day today...got my drains out, remaining clips off TT incision (now super duper glue), some stitches out. In stage 2 CG.
After I got that all done today, I looked down.
Today is the first day I've been able to see my feet from a standing position in over 30 years. I am beyond thrilled! The boobs haven't taken their final shape yet, but I can see the vast improvement and know I'll be so happy with the end result.
Belly is flat-absolutely amazed at how many stretch marks my doc was able to remove. Looks amazing.
Biggest win: I no longer feel matronly!!!!!!!! :D that's a HUGE big deal to me. Even with my granny cane. I can't wait to be fully healed...I want to get back on the elliptical, work on my arms...Just feeling motivated and positive! :)

Monday is the big day
Waffling on nervousness. Excited about possible outcome (and scared...what if it's not a big change? What if it's worse than I am already?). Have my help lined up - hubby and daughter week one, sister from out of town for week two. Allllllll my meds and supplies. Shopping for last food stuff tomorrow, plus pre-op haircut, then cleaning house so I don't get tweaky sitting in my recliner looking at things that need to be done. Now I wait. Impatient to be a patient!
