Why: The doctor is board certified in head and neck surgery but lives and works in a smaller town so his rates are one-half of what is charged in Beverly Hills, 40 scant miles away.
Pros: better vision thanks to upper eyelids being off the eyeballs; clothes fit better and I look better without love handles.
Cons: no big ones really, just the hassles of disguising the bruises on my face with female makeup when going back to work.
The cost was not a major factor because I did it the old fashion way: I saved hard, worked overtime, cut other expenses and pleasures and paid for it with cash.
