Hello Mrs. Kim just wanted to let you know you look great I also went to Dr. Wang you had messaged me months ago I apologize for not responding. Since my surgery I don't log on any more. But I see you made a great decision! My only complaint was they charged me almost double for the silicone strips, I looked up the brand on line same day I purchased them and was upset that I could have got them cheaper direct I could have gotten five treatments for the price I paid. I feel they could have charged me a few bucks more but not rip me off after I haar just paid them thousands and thousands of dollars. But other then that its been a great experience!!!! I absolutely love my results I'm 6 months post op. My recovery was very speedy and was at river after 4weeks. Hope you the best!!!! And if you have any questions message me I'll give you my private email!!!

I am so happy for you that your son is there takin care Of you. That shows that u did an awesome job raising him. I am bumbed because my daughter will not b home from France until the 24th, my sx is the 22nd I was reeeally sad that she could not b here, because I know without a reason of doubt that I will be totally taken care of. She is 22 and loves her mom. It took me a minute to absorb the fact. My mom will b taken care of me and my daughter has talked to her several times about doing a good job until she gets in. It's so sweet I love that Lil girl although she is 6'3 lol. But I'm happy for you and congrats to b on the flat side. I think you are closer to what my blob looks like I can't wait to see your results. Happy Healing with NO pain!!

So I am finally getting the Tummy Tuck that I have...

So I am finally getting the Tummy Tuck that I have wanted for the last 18 years... I am 35 years old 5'3'' 140lbs I have 3 Boys 19yrs, 3yrs and 19months . I don’t even remember how my stomach looked flat I was so young with my first pregnancy I never thought this would happen to my body after having a baby!! ! 3months after giving birth I started eating right working out and running I lost a lot of weight except of course for my nasty stomach. I been with my husband for 12 year and intimacy has always been hard for me because of my ugly stretch marks stomach!! even more so now because I gained weight after having the two little once my stomach stretched even more with the last pregnancy I still have 15 lbs to lose to reach my pre-pregnancy weight (125) its been tough for me to lose dose 15lbs but I will keep trying I wont give up!
I was so happy to have found this site It gave me more strength to have my TT. I have consulted with 2 surgeons, and decided to go with the second doctor. I found my doctor researching online he has two locations in California one in Pasadena and the other in Upland, CA I am schedule for surgery DEC 13 I would love to share my journey with everyone as well as get advice from you ladies any advice you can give me I would really appreciate it to over come my fear and over come this surgery look forward to following the journeys of others as well. Ive attached pictures of my ugly tummy…

I felt the same way my tummy was the most gross thing I could think of nothing fit me I just was always tryn to hide if from people and when it was time for making out with my hubby it made me sick for him to see my tummy so I would keep it covered.. I wanted my sexy back after years of feeling like something from a another planet. I went in to see a ps dr. After looking around for the best .. I found a female dr here in Michigan she is wonderful so I went in for surgery July 9 2012 and i Was not nervous at all the dr and office staff treated me and family like we was VIP.. Well to make a long story short I got the tummy tuck and my mother in law stayed with me to help around the house and when I say help she did everything cook clean whatever needed to be done she did it .. So trust me when I say that you will need help... And take your meds and follow everything that the dr tells you to do and you will be just fine.. Another thing I will tell you is to get up and walk around the house just sitting around will not help at all you don't want any problems. The sooner you move around the better off you will feel.. And use your breathing machine it will help with you breathing and keep your lungs clean. Drains be careful with them and keep them clean... Now I am 4 months out from my surgery and I still have a lot of swelling going on my tummy is somewhat flat in the morning but as the day go on it gets bigger... I know by now u have heard about swell hell.... Good luck and god bless....
Hi Missy! Can you please tell me who your female Dr. in Michigan was? I'm scheduled for a TT with Dr. Lambie (female) who does not place drains. I'm so hoping to have a good recovery like you did (thank you for the encouragement - it means the world to me)!!
My doctor was Michelle Hardaway and her address is 27920 orchard lake rd Farmington hills mi 48334. Phone number 248-855-6030. By the way my first name is Melissa.....
HI Missy, Thank you so much for the information I feel so nervous my surgery is getting closer and i worry about the little ones my mom will come stay with me for a week the 2nd week i will be alone i hope i recover fast! I will make sure to get up and walk and take my meds are directed. question is it really..really painful?
Just take your pain meds and remember to move around walk around the house a little the sooner you up on your feet the better you will feel.. Take your pain meds and do everything the these say and you will be just fine.. It is a surgery so you will have some pain but your,Meds will take care of that.... You will be just fine.... Just think about your HOT NEW SExXXXY body .... God bless.... P.s when your up walking hold a pillow or a folded towel over your tummy it helps....
I barley felt a thing if you have had a c section compare it to that ... if you had pain with cesection you will more than likely have pain with tummy tuck.. if no pain during c-section than no pain with tummy tuck : ) Hope that helps if you have had no c sections then I sugest you keep up on pain meds... and if your doctor has an option for a pain pump it does wonders. I never felt any excruciating pain at all. Maybe a little twinge here or there but nothing major! Good luck to you, stay strong, tell you kids everything... I Did even my two year old knows that mommy got a tummy tuck... as long as your honest with them they wont be so scared when all is said and done.
Thanks Juju, This help alot I've never had a c- section but I will have a pain pump thank goodness!! Do you know How long it take to actually fell good to do things?
Thank you Missy for your advise helps a lot!!
I didnt realize how hard it would be to breathe but you are so right!!! And it is a slow process...your beautiful tummy does not appear for a while so patience patience patience!
Ive never had a c section but had a hysterectomy and the tummy tuck was about like that. One thing they dont tell you is the pain doesnt come from the incision it comes from the re-building of the belly button and the muscle tightening.

My pain pump was an additional 250.00 dollars and insurance doesnt cover it .. but insurance covered all other meds.
Hi, im due to have a TT in Jan, are they stictching your muscles too? Whats 'swell hell'? Im a little worried!
Hi Tb Yes Im getting mustle repair. I dont know what swell hell is yet but all the girls do mention that i guess i will find out soon. Are you ready Tb I know im not ready I still have to buy some stuff for recovery
No i havnt even thought about what I need to buy? I too have two toddlers im dreading recovery-do you hve any suggestions? X
I am also Dreading recovery my 3year old is good but my 20month old is the mamas boy!!! i hope he will do good with my mom!! I have a list going for thing i think i need but not sure i Need help Ladies so far i Have Gas-x Prune juice Tylenol maxipads' apple Sauce Pudding Crakers Lots of Crakers Hand Lotion Arnica Lotion Anti Nausea pills Baby wipes Peroxide Hand Sanitizer Plastic Gloves PHone Charger neosporin Dial soap Gaused Activia Yogurt Naked juice WHAT ELSE DO I NEED LADIES!!
Lots of patience. You will need it more than anything else. Just be prepared for the fact that this is a process, and not a very quick one, especially while you are going through it. Just hang in there, and remember that it does get better. And we will be here to support you, even though there will be days when you don't want to check in. We will be here when you do. Take your pain meds! Good luck!
Thank you so much for your advise Blue. It really means a lot to me I will keep you all updated!!
What are the crackers for? An pads?
I wouldnt take anything to make you go to the bathroom any sooner than your body says. I dont know what type of compression garment your Dr uses but mine used a full body suit which I could not come out of bf 10 days. Using the restroom was a constant challenge and for the first 5 days the last thing you want to do is get up and down constantly running to the bathroom! Another great piece of advice is have tons of pillows you will not be able to lay flat for quite a while and if you have a recliner you can sleep in for a few days that is better than a flat bed....just my experience here in TX!
Mrs kim, i am having my TT on the 10th. the list of things you should get are: 1- all your meds 2- body wipes 3- itch cream 4- Nausea medicine. 5- hals for cough 6- crackers 7- bandages 8- very important.. lift chair.. i rented mine. 9- ask doctor if you will need any iron meds after the surgery. if i think of something else i will let you know. By the way it is my birthday on the 11th.. and my surgery is a day before. It is all about the end result.. :))
Recovery supplies- Your pain meds and antibiotics Colace, cough drops, chapstick, hand lotion, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, tissues, q-tips, Neosporin, multi-vitamin, Tylenol for use after you don't need to take your pain meds Extra pillows White noise machine or small fan Clothes- dark colored and comfortable- stretch pants, baggy tshirts, cotton underwear, socks Spanx product for compression garment for use after drain comes out and you are finished with your binder. Cell phone and charger Large water bottle with straw TV, books and magazines Shower chair (optional) You will not need a toilet riser. I am 5'3'' and did fine without one.
Thanks for the advise skinnywaist!!
