6 weeks post op
Have now had 6 week post op check. Wounds healing well so cleared for swimming and soaking in the bath. I no longer have to wear the compression garment. I am able to get back to running. My scar care is based on technique over product, therefore plenty of creamed massaging and no tape. Currently swelling begins mid to late afternoon, its lessening all the time. I feel great, I'm very happy. Happy Christmas!
4 week update
Well can't complain, today a very good day, hardly any swelling and pretty straight top to toe, can't say all days are like that, most evenings I'm so puffed up and uncomfortable I wonder if it'll ever end, but its oh so worth it x
2 week update
Well what a difference a week can make, feeling very good, posture improving every morning although by evening its tired. Yesterday I took a 10 minute or so walk around the street, I thought my back would suffer being hunched over but it was no trouble. I still have swelling but its not uncomfortable. I think my scar looks fabulous and bb is healing nicely. I'm delighted with my tummy tuck and my surgeon.
