1 week with Invisalign

Officially one week if Invisalign :) and I think my partner is worried I'm loosing it as I'm constantly reading blogs and YouTubing this procedure haha but whatever! - It helps me knowing others are going through it.

So I've had my birthday last week and survived a night out and just wanted to let any other newbies know that it is all do-able even thought on the first few days I didn't think I could handle the lifestyle change! I stuck to clear drinks with a straw and cleaned alot when I got home.

PROS
- I am definitely feeling the benefits from drinking so much water not only do I feel better in myself I am cutting down from snacking at the desk at work (hopefully will loose a few pounds). I don't tend to drink coffee anymore at work and I no longer feel fatigue which is great.
- Not one person has pointed it out to me and I feel quite chuffed about that.
- My teeth appear whiter from the constant brushing. I think will whiten them once this procedure is finished with.

CONS
- 34 trays feels sooo long and on my clincheck it doesn't look like I will see much improvement until 4-6 months in. I guess I'm quite impatient and wondered if anyone would recommend acceledent?
- Bad lisp, I felt very self-conscious to speak to people but after few days I thought so what? This is all self-improvement and shouldn't feel bad about it
- Attachments - particularly one on my problem tooth, makes it look even worse :( I can't wait to see the progress and to be able to smile without any hesitation - it will be a dream and worth the money spent I'm sure...
- Trays - first few days I could not get them in and out easily at all, however you pick up little tricks and it is very easy now!

All for now, will update with pictures once I feel abit more confident about the whole thing :)

Okay, so I've had these in for about an hour and they feel so odd but I want to stay positive as my teeth have really effected my confidence my whole life so I hope this treatment works! I have a total of 34 trays which seems like so much right now ahh so any advice or tips would be so much appreciated :')

For as long as I've remembered my teeth have really effected me and I haven't been able to smile in pictures ever, people often ask me why I don't which is quite awkward. My family couldn't financially afford them as a teen so now I'm working I decided to take the plunge! Over the past few months I've found these reviews to be so helpful so I hope this can help others.

I have a birthday night out on Friday with lots of drinking involved - how do you guys deal with that lol?

Thank you for reading & will post soon!
