Time flies!

Hi all, it's been some time since my last post, I have been looking after my scars as advised, massaging and applying amred gel stick. I can see a difference in the scaring now and It's great being able to find bras to fit easily, no thick and unattractive straps :-))

Almost 6 weeks post

I can't believe how quickly time has passed, I am so happy and relieved that I have had my surgery. I think I have a way to go with healing but I'm okay with that. It's interesting, I didn't have very big implants but I used to suffer with upper back ache but no longer! I don't think I could have hoped for a better result bearing in mind I had my implants inserted through the lower part of my areola, I had minimum scaring, as they would be removed the same way it made sense to me to have the mini lift. I know this is not for everyone but personally I have no regrets. Should the scaring be more visible in a year or so I'm told it can be tattooed, I'll have to wait and see.

3 weeks post - tape change

So I'm 3 weeks post op now, tiredness has gone now, a small amount of breast pain but not enough to warrant taking any meds. I can't really see any change in my breast shape since week 1. I was quite scared to show you photos without tape as my areola doesn't look as if it's part of me but I hope with time it will look more natural?!?! I can't believe I seem to be a 30C bra now and I can fit into some of my pre op bikinis!
For those British ladies out there who have had explants there is a great website you can send your old bras, they are sent to African women, it's called 'small for all' take a look.
