Post Op - Appointment 1 and 2

On day 6 I went for my Post Op appointment - this was a bit earlier than it would usually be due to when my doctor does his clinics.

He had a general look at my boobs and said everything looked great.

We then moved onto my nose - he removed the cast, which hurt quite a lot! Due to the swelling on my nose the cast really seemed to be wedged on. I was then able to have a look, even though the swelling was bad I could already see a major improvement, he places some tapes on my nose and told me to try and keep them on for 7 days, see the photos.

Post Op Appointment 2 -

I finally had the tapes removed from the scars underneath my boobs! He had a general look and said everything was great, they are dropping as they should and he was really pleased with how everything was looking.

I had a few concerns to do with my nose - on the bridge of my nose at either side where I assume the incisions were made there are two little bumps hardly noticeable but the right hand side one you can see is raised, he told me to massage this with a little moisturiser everyday and it should go away.

My 3 months appointment is January 7th so I will update then and i'll include progress photos.

Please see photos for progress up to now.

Post Op Day 4

So I have caught up with today - I am feeling a lot more human today!

Much more like myself, I a managed a trip out in the car with my friend which was nice to have some fresh air and I have managed on Ibuprofen apart from in the morning where I need paracetamol too. I wake up stiff and that lasts for around an hour or two and then I gradually start to feel better... is this morning boob? Or does it get worse? As you can also see from my photos I am quite bloated I think from the medicine mainly but I hope this will get better soon i'm not suffering too badly from it.

I get my cast off my nose on Thursday so I am really looking forward to that it is very itchy and I'm anxious to see the results underneath!

Post Op - Day 2 and 3

I came home on Sunday 18th in the morning after being given the all clear by my doctor - I was quite painful but just glad to be coming home!

I stayed in bed and slept/watched films all day and got looked after by my boyfriend the most things I was struggling with were sitting up as my chest muscles have stopped working! Itching underneath the cast on my nose and bleeding coming from the side of my nose.

Later on this evening I attempted to eat some pizza for tea as I fancied it, I went to bed and ended up waking up to be sick - I don't know if this was the pizza, the medicine or a combination of them both but I was quite paranoid about it coming down my nose! Luckily it didn't and I managed a full nights sleep until 6am where I woke up for some medicine, for me sleeping all the way through without medicine was better than waking myself up at 2am to take a dose and possibly not being able to get back to sleep.

The next day I managed to have a wash with the help of my mum which helped me to feel more human! It really made me feel better, I also put on a new sports bra which cheered me up a bit.

I have cut out codeine 3 day post op as I have been feeling nauseous and feel that this could be the reason so Ibruprofen and Paracetamol going forwards...
