I've been considering BA for over 15 years, never really had anything to shout about but have a slender frame (115lb, 5/7"). I'm booked in on 22 March and more than getting the right combination (size/polyerethane vs smooth) I am concerned about work after. I can only really afford 7 day off, am I being too optimistic. I work as a sales rep so nothing heavy/taxing apart from luggage on very frequent european travel.

Appreciate any thoughts - promise to send before/after pics and an update of how I get on.

Thanks for starting your story on RealSelf! I think a week sounds totally reasonable! You might be tired for another week or two after, but as long as your doctor clears you, you should be fine.
