Pre vs post op 3 weeks

So here are some pre vs post op pics to help others get an idea.
Still swelling at 3 weeks and love front and back view....i go 'in' at the waist but still lumpy etc....
Side view not so great though still an improvement. I did ask ps to leave a some fat under belly button....i know shocking right but u wanted a natural look so wasnt obv i had it done but wanted no more pot lol
However side view 3 weeks later not brill so hoping still some swelling as i didnt want that much fat left lol
Mlds are so good....my partner massages my back every night and i do my front to help even out skin...so far i am happy
And i did find compression garment so difficult week 1 but hate being without it ...will probs keep it on till week 5 or 6
Did have a small seroma above belly button...compressed more right away with tight wrap and did dissapear quickly but area has hardened.
Post op week 1 I have not seen much difference and was disheartened evwn though i have read reviews saying the same but informing it does get better. Yep they are right post op 3 weeks does looks like i have had vlipo so pheeewwwww!

day 4/5 post op

ok omg the swelling kicked in big time....mainly in flanks and mid back...my flank s felt soo tight but after a massage seemed a little better.
i had taken a week off work but as my work is not strenuous i went back. However if you do have alot of areas or fat removed i think 1 week is okay but still not enough especially if you have a 'hands on' as it does swell badly (my flanks swell up that much at times that it feels like it's stretching).
this is no lunchtime lipo lmao.....unless you have a teeny weeny amount removed.
i was fine post op 2 but day 4 the reality of theses reviews i had read kicked in :o
i also look like there has not been much change at this point up until post op 1 week. (must be the swelling fingers crossed)
ill just have to be patient and hopefully see what i seen on post op day 1...(well hopefully a little better than that too)

day 1and 2 post op

the garment was literally digging in so i had to take it off i did find it difficult to get out of bed but rolling and applying pressure on the elbows helped.other than that i felt okay at this point....and once i did i could not get it back on but i know it would have left dents in sides and front where the clasps were digging in. I had a spare one not as tight but i used epi foam(this is a must...makes the compression garment feel more comfortable and no marks or dents, however it does stick to the abs and as it's tender can sometimes feel sore in the early days) to bulk it up and then the compression felt tighter and i put a velcro belt over to compress more. (all advice given here from a lovely lady)
I was surprised that i had not really much bruising or swelling at this point.
i went for my 1st mld massage on post op day 2 and the lady was amazed at how good the lipo had been done...no bruising soreness etc.... she said most can't bear it post op 2 days she even went to google the surgeon later on lol. This gave me alot of confidence and in the first 2 days i really liked the results and i could see some curves in the tummy area.
guys mld massages do help with the swelling so its a must...it is costly so if you have a few with the registered mld people then you can get a partner/friend to do it for you or yourself as they do show you how.
im sure it helps with any lumps and bumps that may form too but mainly for lymphatic drainage
i haven't taken many pictures post op but will upload soon
