I had Perlane injections for nasolabial lines performed by a doctor whilst on a cruise.
The injection on one side of my face was exceedingly painful, whilst the other side was just a sting. The doctor told me that it was because he had to inject twice as much Perlane into the painful side. One side ( the less painful ) has been a good result, whilst the other side has not.
The doctor did give me a correctioal injection of a different substance. He didn't tell me what it was when I asked. I still cannot see a difference. He also told me that it would last approximate. 12-18 months. The cost was $900.

Not satisfied with the result. Paid top price. Not informed about what the follow up injection contained, and mis- informed about the longevity.

I didn't even know they did injections like that on cruises. So you haven't seen any change on the painful side? Now that you are home have you gone to see a different doctor to see what's up? Please keep us updated.
