Hi everyone, I had my breast implants by Transform...

Hi everyone, I had my breast implants by Transform in the Uk 8 years ago, now I hate them, they are sore, hurt my back, look awful, ive had 3 children since I had the op, and now they look droopy. I regret having them so much! i hate my body with them, i want them gone, have appoint with GP next week, to see if they can help, can anyone give me a rough estimate of cost? Im so miserable about the whole situation, have had two panic attacks in the last month over worrying about it all! Sorry to go on, would just appreciate any help you can give me!

Thanks to angiemmc for helping me set up this...

Thanks to angiemmc for helping me set up this blog, no idea how to do it! lol! Well just to update, im going to try and find out if BUPA can help, have medical cover with them, so great to find a website like this, that supports women to feel happy with the real them! I just feel terrible to know im going to spend so much money having them removed! What was I thinking!!! 19 was far to young for me to have them done! Will update when I have had chance to do some research, but already cant wait for the day when they are gone, even looked round the underwear department at small sizes and got very excited!!!!

Great review?

Hi guys just wanted to say have you thought about going with the NHS I found out I have had PIPs in for the last 11 years (great ah) and as the Highgate clinic had no records and the original surgeon is now in South Africa the NHS are going to remove mine so maybe you could ask your GP xx

Hi how is it going? Just wondering if you have any quotes about the price of implants removal. I'm also in the UK and shopping around at the moment. It seems to be very hard to find a surgeon who has done this procedure many times. I wish you luck! keep us posted.

Thank you very much for the messages! Have started wearing a sports bra, not the most attractive thing but at least it helps! Im going to ring around a few places after Ive had my GP appointment, and also I have BUPA cover through my work, so going to try and investigate if they can help at all!

Hi Becky, I cant help with costs because hospital paid for removal (I had PIPs) but just wanted to sympathise and say please try not to worry. For one thing, you've had them in this long that a little while longer wont make much difference and once you have the surgery sorted it is going to be very straight forward. Most women on here say the pain is less than having them in, and the recovery is easier and that was definitely my experience on both counts.

How about you e-mail around a few surgeons to ask about costs for removal only, no replacement? I would go for a least 2-3 consultations also to see if you like the surgeon (if you dont want to go back to your first one that is).

How about in the meantime, you get a good supportive bra to help with the pain a bit, maybe even a minimiser so you feel a bit smaller?

Hugs xx

hi, i have had 3 quotes for removal without replacement, ranging from £2.4k, £3.9k, to £6k. It is worth shopping around to find a surgeon and clinic you are happy with. The cheapest was the provider who put them in for me in the first place, i think often if you go back they will try to help. Good luck in finding someone.
