I had a mini tummy tuck almost 5 weeks ago and I wonder if I would of benefited more from a full one. My doctor did not provide before and after pictures and did not explain or even discussed the chance of getting a full tummy tuck and the benefits of getting that instead of the mini.  He was the one that suggested it right away but I would of been open to a full one if I would of known.

I want to get to make some changes to myself. I saw a Dr and he recommended a mini abdominoplasty but would I not benefit more from a full one?

Here's what doctors have to say about a full TT vs. a Mini. I hope it helps. You very well could be swollen from both the TT and lipo, so don't panic yet.

I had a mini TT as well. Mine looks like yours after 4 weeks. Had mine on Aug 17, 2011. I looks like your still quite swollen. I'm also still very swollen. Sometimes I wonder if it'll ever go down and will I ever get back to normal. At the initial appt., my dr. asked me if I wanted a full TT. I said, NO

I dont have any poctures right now. I just wanted to get someone else's opinion on what it would work best. A full abdominoplasty or a mini.

OH, Maybe I misunderstood. Did you have the surgery already? The dr. probably knows best if you didnt need any muscle repair and it was skin only Then mini is probably fine

I actually already had the surgery and I now have after pictures. Also I will post before and after pictures of the upper arm liposuction that he did for me. I am not very happy with the results though. Its only been almost 6 weeks ago so I dont know if its to soon or should I really be upset. I am still wearing the garments. Both the abdominal one and the arms one.

Looks like you are still swollen to me. Have you talked to the Dr? My doctor's office said I could take the binder of after 4 weeks
