“Tummy Tuck - Liposuction”

How did you come to decide on this surgeon / facility? I'm intrigued by the idea of traveling to a lower cost vacation destination for my surgery, but the risk of not being able to meet with the doc, visit the facility, etc have left me apprehensive. What did you do to gain comfort? Thanks!

I'm not familiar with Dr. Macaya at Biblica Clinic. My surgeon was Dr. Cohen with the Rosenstock/Liberman Clinic. He and his staff were amazing. They took very good care of me and I had follow up appointments every day. After the surgery I was in quite a bit of pain, none like I had imagined. Everything was really tight and I had a lot of fluid in my abdomen. I had to insist on morphine shots for pain management, as the pills they sent home with me just didn't cut it. You will love Las Cumbres. Elke, the owner is one of the most kind, caring and wonderful people you will ever meet. The nurses there are fantastic, you will love it there. There is a lady, for some reason I cannot remember her name, but she comes daily and gives massages. It's a little costly, but seriously worth it. It's a painful massage, but extremely helpful in reducing the amount of swelling and fluid. If you want to give me your email address I can send you before and after pictures if you like. Hi, My surgeon was Dr. Cohen at the Rosenstock Liberman Clinic. I spent 5 months researching medical tourism on the internet and found a lot of good comments regarding this clinic and this doctor, more than any others. I spoke directly with Dr. Cohen and his staff by phone and email for months before my surgery. I emailed him pictures of my stomach and he told me exactly what he could do and how much. I emailed him oodles of questions, and he always replied quickly and answered anything I wanted to know. I too was concerned about their standards and I can tell you first hand that the clinic was extremely clean, well managed, they had state of the art equipment and the doctors are certified and do an excellent job. Honestly I never would have got the same quality of care and attention here in Canada as I got there. I would recommend any of my friends and family to Dr. Cohen.
