Worth It
Spent: $4,600 in Oxnard, California

I had a tummy tuck because I wanted to get rid of my stretch marks and have a flatter stomach. Also because I was tired of the way shirts would look on me. I wasn't able to wear those beautiful tight shirts I really liked.

I was happy and a little disappointed. I am happy because I have a very flat stomach, but a little unhappy because I still have quite a bit of stretch marks.

If your scared of feeling pain, don't be because when you wake up from surgery, you don't feel anything. Just make sure you take your pain killers on time and you won't feel a thing.

The only thing that sucks is having the drains. Another thing is you kind of walk a little bent because it feels weird when you want to straighten up. The part of my body that hurt the most was my lower back. Also when I massage where they did the lipo hurts a lot, but that's about it. They removed my drains 12 days later and I was finally able to take a shower.

I will be posting up some pictures up next week for sure.

I want to get tt so Ive been researching and reading this site ALOT, the ONLY thing I scared of is the pain (Ive had alot in my life plus back problems) can you all tell me why MOST people say worst possible or severe and the few of you like Olivia have mild or some discomfort?? Im wondering whats different in the very few people that experience hardly any pain?? ideas?

I know what your talking about. Before I got my tummy tuck I read alot of comments on this site, and some of them would scare me. But I wanted this done so badly that I just did it. It is really weird because I didn't feel any pain after surgery. When I woke up I thought they hadn't done anything on me. I just took my vicodins every four hours before I even felt pain. I think that's why I didn't feel no pain. The only thing that does hurt a lot is when you cough or sneeze. Put it this way if i want to sneeze i hold it off so i won't cause it hurts really bad. Also when you laugh it hurts. I was off the pain killers after five days. Plus my surgeon and his staff help you relax. I don't even remember how i fell asleep. Don't worry if you go to a surgeon that knows what he's doing you will be just fine. Just make sure your healthy before you go.
