“I've Been Waiting for Sooo Long, and Finally TT and Breast Lift - New Jersey”
Spent: $15,900 in New Jersey
After gaining 50+lbs during pregnancy I have felt extremely unhappy and sad about the way that my body looked post pregnancy. I was 105 prepregnancy 158 post, and am now 142lbs. After waiting 8 years to be able finally afford my TT and breast life, my heart is overjoyed with the idea that my TT is only weeks away. I am here to meet new friends who are going through similar trials and to ask as many questions as possible about recovery etc. Wish me luck!

I was wondering if anyone has ever not had someone there while they were recovering. I have a ride home but for the most part will be going this solo. Does anyone have any tips or advice? I am really scared my surgery is tomorrow :( and I won't be having any help.

so i am currently IN LOVE with my breasts but really so so on the tummy tuck. mostly because my belly button looks GRRROSS. and i know i won't be able to cover that with underwear :(. I hop this gets better over time...also, when does this compression garment go away?! im already tired of it touching my skin...i think i will put an under shirt on UNDER my compression garment.

How are you gals holding up??
Good luck tomorrow! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
What a holiday present to give yourself! Looking forward to reading more about your journey!
Hey you will do wonderful! Look forward to following your posts as you go through your process. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Hi. I was just curious if you were going to be able to have both procedures performed at the same time. I gained lots of weight with pregnancies (baby is now 12-lol ), and I have worked hard to lose the last 40 pounds I felt like I needed to lose before going forward with surgery. I had a mastopexy with implants 12-8, and will have the abdominoplasty tomorrow, 12-13. Because of time involved with implants and mastopexy, my surgeon insisted on two separate procedures (which was fine). I'm a little apprehensive because of the severity of the pain the first 24-48 hrs after breast surgery, but he told my husband I would likely be more sore than anticipated because of all the stretching of skin he had to do. Best of luck with your surgery!

Again, hope your surgery goes well. If you have any questions about my surgery feel free to ask. (Not that I'm an expert-lol)
That's awesome you can have both done at once. My husband said first surgery (on 8th) took a little over 3 hours which is about how long it took today. As far as cleaning, it's overrated. Lol. Tried to clean thoroughly before first surgery, knowing I couldn't clean prior to this one! Not sure how much good it did.
Congrats, too, on your weight loss. I think it is great motivation to keep the weight off once you've invested the time and money for a TT!
Good luck tomorrow ladies.
I will be thinking about you tomorrow and wishing you a fast recovery!!
