I had my TT along with a breast reduction and lift as well as lipo on my back, upper arms, and under my chin. The cost above is only for the TT.
One of my surg nurses told me that my doc had been her doc and showed me her scar and I was so impressed and excited. You really had to look to see her scar it was so tiny. She told me that one year to the day it looked like that after her surgery.
My procedure was on April 28th at 8:30 A.M. and lasted for approx 5 hrs. Due to complications, the doctor had to go back in because I began bleeding internally then clotting so much that another surgery was necessary. Seven units of whole blood and two of plasma later and I am just fine. Apparently I have a underlying blood condition that has never been caught before and i almost died from a simple procedure that most would have breezed through. If not for my excellent doctor and nurses that were caring for me this could have turned out much different.
Anyway, back to the TT. It has been 2 weeks and I am doing fine. I was very tired and in some pain at first. I spent 5 days in the hospital because of the complications and came home with 1 drain tube in my left breast (the right one came out the day I left) and 2 in my lower tummy. I think they are the worst part. Trying to find something to wear over them to go to the doctors so no one can see them is impossible. But I guess I am not the only person visiting my doctor with drain tubes.
My scars look bad but it is only two weeks and I am also still swelled a lot. I hope that is better soon. That's all for now. I will update as I progress and will put my before and progressive after pics soon.
