45 year old mother of a 21 year old. Yo-yo dieting and no amount of excercise did not rid of excess skin! I truly believe that these fat cells is where I gain my weight. I really does look like I'm pregnant! So now I've got 2 separate consultation with different doctors. So we shall see!

Question for all the ladies who's done the TT...
which is better A) reinstalling your original belly button OR b) just making a new one?

I had a hysterectomy scar
Which is better A) cut the original scar OR
B) cut below the scar?

2 Docs have two totally different views.

3 weeks ago today, I rid of my excess skin. Although I thought it would be more, the doc said 7.2 lbs was all he took...

Swelling is what I'm seeing now, especially around my hips. The doc says it should take 6 months before it all goes away.

My strenght is almost back. Still a little tight in the abdominal area, but nothing bad. Did my first low impact zumba and 2 weeks ago went for a bike ride. Going to my follow up on Monday.. he'll probably give the thumbs up to go back and resume full activities...

You keep having consults until you find the doctor you are completely comfortable with.  This is the most important part of the process and can't be rushed.   Where have you searched so far??

It's crazy how our bodies take a beating and just won't bounce back!!   You will get there and soon have the new tummy you have been hoping for.  

Please keep us up to date on your consults.

got 2 consult. Doc A is really nice..very professtional, he will install drains and will have the proceedure done in his clinic. Very liberal in his before and after pix of his patients. Doc B is questionable, his own appearance did not impress me much..he had 2 tucks himself and says that I have a year of follow up to make sure all lis good. Doc B will not have drains, instead it's an internal line under the skin and says that it's a more efficient way to heal...has anyone heard of this???
but I think I'll go with Doc A.
