“Totally Worth It”

Had one syringe of Juvederm in NL folds a week ago, plus a botox touchup between, over and under my eyebrows. I'm very happy with the results. There was just a little bruising on the left side of my mouth, and some redness at the injection points, all of which was gone within three days. I'm 47, fair-skinned, and had lots of sun damage from growing up in the Caribbean. Starting 9 months ago I've had 10 glycolic acid peels, botox twice and now the Juvederm, and I'm delighted with the results. Almost all the blotching and roughness from the sun damage is gone, the sagging in my upper eyelids is gone, and the NL folds filled out very nicely. Ever so slightly uneven, but I don't want to buy another whole syringe of Juvederm to try to even it out. Next time I'll probably do my upper lip as well. I was offered a nerve block (like novocaine at the dentist), but opted to go with just the numbing cream, and it was painful, but not excruciating. I wasn't quite ready for surgery; I feel like these treatments have easily taken ten years off my face for a total cost of about $1,800.
