It's day three of my Invisalign treatment. The pain is much more manageable today, but I'm still feeling uncomfortable. It was really hard to sleep last night. The hard edges are driving me crazy! I'm thinking of buying some orthodontic wax to help soothe my gums. I've been home all weekend, so wearing the aligners has been a piece of cake. I think I clocked in at 23 hours yesterday.
I'm a little bit anxious about going to work tomorrow, especially now that I have to spend 5-10 minutes of my lunch hour brushing my teeth, flossing, and cleaning my aligners. I accidentally dropped my Invisalign case and it broke, so I'll have to get a new one tomorrow. You'd think those things would be more durable.

Just got my first tray yesterday. I'm trying to correct my overbite and some crowded bottom teeth. So far, I'm pretty happy with the treatment. The aligners are almost invisible. They're easy to put on and take off. As for the pain, it is constant, but manageable. I seem to have developed a slight lisp - really hoping it goes away once I get used to it. I also find myself rubbing the edges of the aligners with my tongue and grinding my teeth a lot.
I'm a little worried about the attachments since I'm supposed to get 12 next month. Most of them are at the sides and bottom, so I'm hoping they're not too noticeable. I guess we'll see what happens next month!
