I decided to have Ultherapy done for a few reasons. 1) to tighten 2) to build collagen. I am 38 with no wrinkles, just a bit of a double chin and some jowls. Maybe I am too young for this procedure, I am almost a year post and I have see little or no improvement. While I can't say for certain that I am building more collagen as a result of the Ultherapy, I can say that the amount of firming and lifting that has occurred is not worth the price tag. I saw very little difference in my before and after pics. I showed the before and after pics to a few friends and had them decide which pics were the "before" and which pics were the "after". No one could see a difference. When I told them how much I paid their jaws hit the floor. I am very disappointed. The skin spa I go to recommends getting Ultherapy every other year to maintain "results". Ridiculous! I wish I would have saved my money and gotten a face lift. Save your money. Pro: it was minimally painful after taking Tylenol and a Valium. No downtime. Con: price tag!!!! This procedure shouldn't cost more than $250 for the results it produces.
