Hello ladies,
I apologise in advance for my brief review. I plan to make it short precise and straight to the point. For a very long time i always wanted a bigger butt to balance out my masculine build (broad shoulders). It was either going to be with Dr. Campos or Dr. Pantoja. I finally made a decision to go with Dr.Pantoja and was a ease with this decision. I had done my research and knew he was a safe, caring and good surgeon. A massive reason why i chose not to go with Dr. Campos, was because my emails weren't being replied quickly, i was kept waiting to long at times, so i got impatient!
As for my experience, i must say Dr Pantoja is so sweet and is truly a lovely man. He would rather speak in Spanish, but do not worry about the communication barrier, Nadia will be available to translate! can i just say... i got so used to hearing Dr. Pantoja speaking Spanish, i was actually surprised at the fact that his english is actually great!! but he is obviously more comfortable speaking Spanish which was not a problem for me as i was determined to learn some Spanish during my time there. That determination fizzled out real quick after my surgery thanks to the pain and stiffness lool. After my surgery although i was still in Lala land, i remember he popped in to see me, this was thoughtful of him. His office is spotless and can i just say it smells heavenly! his staff are professional. I was, truly, taken good care of. I stayed at CLUB MED, can i just say wow!! just wow!!! from the get go, i felt at home and at ease the minute i set foot in the recovery home. The car ride with the wonderful Susana and Marvin was very relaxing. I say relaxing because they were sooo easy to talk to and genuinely welcoming. I didn't feel i had surgery the next morning. Also partly because i was not nervous, in fact i was so ready to get my surgery because i had planned it for ages!! I didn't have to worry about packing essentials for my after care. Believe me when i say i packed as though i wasn't going for surgery but rather a holiday. Reason for this is because i was assured by marvin that i need not worry and he was right!! ladies pack light!! just trust me!! its too much hassle dragging a heavy luggage after surgery. well this advice is based on you choosing to go to Club Med.
Now for the important bit. i am 5'7 and weighed 13.5stone size 14 UK.
Procedure: liposuction in your entire abdomen, waist, arms and full back, taking all the obtained fat to inject your buttocks and hips.
1000cc was injected into each butt cheek and 200cc into each hip.
Cost:3,600 USD
What is included in this cost?
- 1 night-stay in the clinic with 24 hour nurse care/aid
- Your own recovery room equipped with Patient's bed, armchair/lazy-boy, Wi-Fi, T.V., phone, bathroom utilities (shower and lavatory).
**Please note the following: **Please note the following: A friend or family member can stay with you in your room while you have surgery or during visit hours but no one is allowed to stay over night, NO EXCEPTIONS. The building hours are from 8:00am to 8:00pm.
- Patient's meals are provided (Fruit, Chicken Soup/Broth, etc).
- Dr. Pantoja's, Anesthesiologist's, Hospital, Nurses and Operating Room fees included
- An evaluation and electrocardiogram (EKG) is done before the surgery by the cardiologist
- Lab work required prior to surgery and post op
- 1 Compression Girdle/Garment
- Unlimited post-operative visits
What is not included:
1)Medication you need to take home for your recovery. (i.e. antibiotic, pain killers, muscle relaxers). This can be bought at any pharmacy in Mexico or be delivered to the clinic. The cost is approx. $120-$130 dollars since this is a two week treatment. NO REFILL NEEDED.
2) Nursing services outside of clinic.
3) Post-operative Massage Therapy. $30 dollars per session. (Fully Recommended)
4) Additional garments
My after care at club med was amazing!!! just wonderful!! Alissia, Favi, and Susanna all did an AMAZING job. Just believe me when i say if you choose club med, you are in very very safe hands!! Can i just quickly appreciate waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning and falling asleep in a room that is constantly saturated by the wonderful ocean breeze. YEES! DREAM!
Now my results i must admit i am disappointed. I did not get the hour glass figure as you will see in the pictures. It's really unfortunate because i had high hopes. Yes there is a difference! i do have a bigger butt but the simple fact is i wanted the coke bottle shape and that i certainly did not get! far from. Quite disappointed at this. I emphasise on my disappointment because, well, imagine this, over 3years you decide ok i will get this done and finally its done and there isn't much deference between before and after. I will have to go through the process again and i had not planned for this. After seeing my friend's result who went to Dr Baez in the Dominican republic i was like ok i think i made a mistake going to Dr. Pantoja. My friend who is 5'6 and weighed 12stone got 500cc in each hip and 1500 in each but cheek!! no word of a lie she looks HOOOT!! coke bottle shape to the fullest!! like WOAAH! i make the comparisons and i wish Dr. Pantoja had injected more fat in me. Also i believe it was a waste getting my arms lipposucctioned, because in my case there wasn't a difference. I am left with are two visible scars at the back of my arms. They aren't massive but i would rather they were not be there because i am now left feeling very self conscious when i wear vests or any clothing that exposes my back.
Now to the issue of pain! yes ladies its freaking painful.... but for me it was bearable pain..it isn't paint that lead me to a breaking point! i hope this will be the same case for you. On the topic of pain, the massages i received from Marripas were the worst, but i always felt better after! they do help.
As for the question of was it worth it, i will say YES AND NO. No, because in the end i didn't get the coke bottle shape i desired so badly, which was the reason i decided to start this journey initially. Yes, because i appreciate the little difference made plus the care and attention was worth every penny.
