It has been a month and 2 days, and I'm still hoping it's the swelling that is making my nose slightly uneven. Other than that I'm REALLY happy with my nose! Breathing is back to normal, but normal being not the easiest to breath through. I'm hoping it will just take time to improve.

10 Days Post-op

I accidentally took my cast off in my sleep a couple days ago, but had my appointment today and everything is good! I barely had to wait at all to be seen and the questions I had were answered. My next appointment isn't for 6 months, but if I feel more comfortable I can make it in 3 months. I'm really happy with how my nose looks so far! It's already more proportionate to my face, even with the swelling. It is slightly uneven at the tip, but hopefully this is only from the swelling and only time will tell how it settles. The rest of my face has no more swelling and no more bruising.

I never felt like I could breath through my nose as well as I should be able to, especially at night. I also had a large, bulbous nose that I was never comfortable with. I was going to have the septoplasty either way, and after figuring things out financially was able to have both producers together. I want to feel more confident with my nose that has never really suited me. I have never been made fun of it, family and friends have always told me it 'suits me', and I am mentally and emotionally healthy. I know I made the right decision in having this surgery, especially with Dr. Solomon. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out as I just had it done yesterday.

I was referred to Dr. Solomon by an ENT and I have been very happy with my experience with him. My meetings with him were fairly brief, but he always asked me if I had any questions and was always kind to me. He let me know that the goal was not a perfect nose, but an improved one, which I completely agreed with. He spoke to me before and after the surgery, answered the questions I had, and let me know things went well. I was surprised with how early I was able to set a surgery date, and with the actual surgery I was surprised with how little pain I was/am in. I look forward to feeling (breathing wise) and seeing his work on my new nose.
