Dr. Solomon is not only an incredibly talented...

Dr. Solomon is not only an incredibly talented surgeon, but he is also genuinely kind and caring. I got my the bump on my nose fixed about a month before my 19th birthday and it completely exceeded my expectations. It's an extremely difficult decision to get facial surgery done, especially early in life, but if your going to do it Dr. Solomon's your guy.

I used to go out in public and think that everyone noticed my big nose and was judging me, despite the fact that I know that as people we tend to think others notice our flaws or even our perfections much more than they actually do. After getting my nose fixed I can honestly say I can leave my house feeling beautiful no matter what. It's kind of like your whole life you've been focusing on how insecure you feel about one specific flaw that you fail to notice all the other awesome things about yourself.

The day of my surgery:
The scariest part of the entire process is definitely the day of the surgery. In general I would say I am an extremely anxious person but was not even phased until we arrived at the hospital. More specifically, when I was walking into the operating room itself. It was my first time going to sleep and the second I got on the table I started freaking out, Dr. Solomon was so incredibly kind and calming and held my hand until I fell asleep. He even came to visit when I woke up in the recovery room to see how I was feeling (and I was feeling great). You'd think you'd wake up in excruciating pain considering you just got a piece of your bone cut off and reconstructed, but to be honest the worst part for me was getting my blood pressure checked (I don't know why but I hate it so much). The people at the hospital are so nice and caring too!

A Week After:
No matter which surgeon does your nose, I can almost guarantee when they take off the bandage a week later you are going to freak out. I was so scared and my nose was so fat and swollen and all I could think was I wish I had my old nose back. Literally though a week later the swelling went down and it turned into the most beautiful nose I could have ever asked for. Each day the swelling went down more and more and I began to love my nose even more. I am so incredibly grateful for Dr. Solomon's talent and work and I could not be more pleased.

Cons:
They don't tell you this, or maybe I just wasn't listening but I got a stitch right in the corner of my right eye. I was freaking out at the beginning, but there isn't even a scar now and didn't hurt much, it was just scary at first.

Outcomes:
I honestly could not be happier with the results. All my friends and family love it, but at the same time your acquaintances only notice something different about you and don't assume you got a nose job (or at least they don't mention it)! Just keep your expectations realistic, some things cannot be fixed by anyone and you can't assume that its going to fix all your problems (I recommend watching nip/tuck for a better understanding of what I mean). I can tell you that getting my nose fixed by Dr. Solomon was one of the best decisions of my life, and if you are on the hunt for an amazing surgeon he is definitely it.

Dr. Solomon was extremely nice and caring and listened to everything I had to say throughout the entire process. The day of the surgery he pulled me aside and made sure that what we talked about in the consult was still exactly what I wanted. Then he told me what he was going to fix, made sure again that it was what I wanted and then I was off. He took the time to come visit me in the recovery room and told me it all went just as planned.
