Worth It
Spent: $2,500 in Dallas, TX

Thermage has been an excellent experience and i feel great and glad that i decided to opt for it. Earlier, i was in 2 minds about thermage or chemical peel, but i decided to go for thermage as i believe that it is far more effective. I was right and it has really worked for me. My looks changed within just an hour! It is like a face lift, but the kinds where you don't get a surgery but the results are the same if not better. I have always been scared of skin tightening procedures that involve surgery. Not just because i am very afraid of surgeries, but also because i have a client facing job and i can't look horrible or fixed. I have to look presentable at all times and can not take much time off. So, in that aspect, thermage worked great because it did not take long for me to recover, as compared to a surgery. The thing is that unlike surgery, you don't see the results immidiately. Although, even in surgery, you have to wait to recover completely, for the swelling and the bandages to go to see how much you have improved. With thermage, the swelling goes away within less than 2 weeks, but the results begin to show after 2 weeks and by 5 months, you are a totally new person. What i like is that it is hard for people to tell that you have got something done because you don't change overnight. So, the secret of what you did remains a secret! It is important to have elasticity in your skin to see great results so you should always check that with your doctor. You can use make up after the procedure when you return to  work. I did that and it was hard for anyone to notice the slight redness i had under my make up. No special care is required, just sunscreen, which i apply reugularly now. I felt hot in my face during the treatment but it was mild. On the whole, thermage has worked well for me.
