I’ve had three Thermage treatments on the backs of my arms and they’ve all gone great. I started going to my plastic surgeon for this a few years ago to help with the loose skin there and have had some follow-ups and trials with new equipment since then. The skin is noticeably tighter and there’s less rippling from the old fat and stretch marks I had. I’m very pleased with the results and am happy to share them with anyone who wants to see, even the negative Thermage people out there.
I might try Thermage on my lower legs later on. I haven’t decided yet but I know of a business associate who had it done with great success. There are a few of us who are looking into doing it because of her.
As you can tell I’ve lost a bit of weight and Thermage has turned out to be a great alternative to real plastic surgery. I don’t like surgery and I don’t like scars and that made it the best option for me. It’s not for everyone though.
I think the most important thing for people to do with Thermage is temper their expectations. If you go into your surgeon’s office and look at the “beauty book” with all the plastic surgery success stories, you will probably be disappointed because Thermage isn’t that. It’s not a radical change. You have to be ready to invest in something that is temporary. It’s a decent option but it won’t change your life.
