It took a couple hours and it stung a little bit, but so what. After a few weeks I came back, and everyone in the office just gave me a horrified look. I didn't look any better at all. (In fact, I appeared worse because I had just had my hair colored for my thermage appointment, and I kind of needed my hair done when I came in for the followup.)

I am not well-off. I used hard-earned savings. I may as well have taken my $4,000 and burned the bills. Absolutely NOTHING changed on my face.

Looking back in my receipts, I realize I threw away $5000 on this Thermage treatment from dr Magilke in Portland, OR. Also humiliating was that he convinced me to get a filler in my lips "to take away wrinkles in my upper lip"! Which I now know was totally outrageous for him to tell me, as that is certainly not the way to remove upper lip wrinkles. For a couple weeks adter that my top lip was sticking out and puffed up. It would have been laughable, except that ot was my FACE. Of course it did not alter the wrinkles at all.
