Thermage Two

Worth It
Spent: $5,000 in Tampa, FL

I had Thermage of the mid-lower face and neck performed in March 2008. Because there was no noticeable change, after the fourth month, the clinic decided to give me two sessions of Refirme to see if the combination of the two procedures would deem positive results. Although there was some tightening with the Refirme, it was not enough to justify the cost. (the Refirme treatment however was free) At the end of the six months waiting period, the before and after pictures showed little change. Fortunately, the clinic guaranteed their work ( which most do not)

In September, 2008 they redid the Thermage. (at no cost) This time they used 900 pulses at 3.0 and 3.5 degrees. After one month, there is now a noticeable difference.

Would I recommend it? In the hands of a skilled technician or physician who stands by their work... Yes. But remember, you should never compare the results of this procedure to a full surgical face lift. No matter how you look at it...$5000.00 does not equal $35,000.00
