“Be warned. terrible thermage experience”

Thermage has ruined my life. I am so angry and devastated, i don't know how to begin telling you my story. All these people in clinics and spas keep saying that thermage is good, it makes you young etc but trust me, it is all a big lie. They don't tell you that your face can get ruined and scarred for life. They make you sign a paper, taking no responsibility for any reaction and you get stuck with dangerous aftermaths, only hoping that some how somwhere, you can find a way to sue them or get your old face back. Now i wish i had not hoped to become younger. I was wrinkled, but atleast i looked like human being. I look so bad now that even i get scared when i see the mirror.

When the treatment started, i felt a lot of heat and burn. After a few seconds i was actually screaming. I was given topical anesthesia and the pain went away a little. I wish i had stoped and left that very minute because after the anesthesia, i did not know what was happening to my face because i could not feel much. Later, when i woke up and left, my face begain to burn all over again and i started crying in pain. The doc had given me some antibiotic and some painkillers but they were of no use.

I kept popping pills for over a week, Had to stop going to work. When i woke up in the mornings, i could not open my eyes. Even my eyes were swollen like crazy. My face hurt, was burning for several weeks and the swelling just refused to go. I somehow even got high fever. My husband by now had completely paniced looking at my face and the pain i was in. I felt sick and dizzy all the time and the pain would get mild only if i kept popping painkillers like candy. Finally, my husband decided that enough was enough and he took me to a doctor. What i heard that the doctor in the hospital is going to shock you. I had suffered second degree burns! Can you believe that? With thermage. Who could have thought this was possible? The websites, the clinics keep saying that the good thing about thermage is that there is no down time, but please please dont believe them. They are all liars. Thermage caused huge oozing blisters on my face and the swelling stayed for months together. I had to undergo treatment for burns and even now, after a year, my face is acarred. The scars of the blisters still remain. I would have opted for plastic surgery or something on my face but after this thermage experience, i think it is better to live with these scars.

Please Please dont get thermage done. Trust me . You never know what can go wrong. There is no guarantee that you won;t get burnt. It can happen to anyone. Please think many many times before you even plan to go for thermage. Make the choice.. is it better to get burnt or rather age with grace? I wish i had made that choice and decided to accept my aging looks, Now i am burnt and damaged for life!
