Swelling above incision

Can any one tell me why I'm still so swollen , I'm 6 weeks and 3 days post op , any advice I would be grateful [RS bleep]

6 week update

Well things are improving I still have a lot of swelling especially the left side , I really can't drink any more water than what I am , the scar / incision at the moment is very thin in places which is good , however I'm still really uncomfortable wearing the binder 24/7 and the swelling above my incision line makes me look about 3 months pregnant , I do feel disappointed with the results so far but I am also aware it's still early days , just wish I could fast forward 6 months and feel normal again will up load photos later , thanks x

Feeling positive

Well a new day and all that , got up this morning to find my swelling was a lot better , I was in a very dark place yesterday lol , x
