I tried everything before giving in to Botox and now I wonder why I waited so long! It is such a simple and cost-effective procedure that gives amazing results! I was the first one out of my girlfriends to have it done because we were all pretty skeptical and didn't want to be "fake". But after seeing the magic it worked on me, they all went to get Botox too! If you are not sure, I would recommend starting with a small amount of units (12-15) maybe on just your forehead or crow's feet for a sample. I had it on my forehead, in between the eyebrows, crow's feet, and underneath the eyes (which is supposed to be more dangerous). But I truly love it and wish I was more open to it sooner.
Depending on your pain tolerance, you may need numbing cream and you may bruise (especially if you get it under the eyes) for a few days afterwards. Headaches sometimes follow the day they go away by the next morning. Try to find a doctor with a gentle hand.
