Pro is that after all of my life I always had a hump on my nose but now it's gone and it looks great, con is the nasal tip swelling which makes my tip look bigger than it was before surgery...

Hello, I had open rhinoplasty and tipplasy done 1.5 month(s) ago however my surgeon has messed up on the tip of my nose, as seen in the images provided, Thing is, the tip of the nose appears more bent in photos than it actually does in real life.. in any case I have been considering non-surgical rhinoplasty and I'm just wondering with the photos provided if this option may help at least a little for my issue? The left side of my nose has a dint in it which makes it appear more bent also the tip has dropped!

Hi, I recently had open Rhinoplasty and also some tip work done, I'm feeling fine and I got up and around pretty quickly, however I do have one concern... I am aware that swelling is only natural after surgery however as I have noticed the tip of my nose is very swollen, more so than it was BEFORE surgery.. I feel like it's bigger and uglier before I had anything done to it, It's only been 8 days after surgery.. but I’m wondering what can I do to help reduce the swelling of my Tip and nasal area, are there any special injections?? I do need help with this as it's driving me crazy, I don't want to leave the house.

Great review?

Hi, I have the same problem. My tip is unbelievably big and swollen. I'm depressed. Although my doctor said he did a tip reduction, I can't seem to see it. My tip looks bigger than before the surgery. You can look at the pic on my link. I heard about Steroids shots to reduce the swelling but I guess they only give it you after 6 months. My doctor asked me to do some massages said it will reduce the swelling. Still waiting... Ask your PS.

Tell me about it, I liked my nose, just wanted the little ball on the tip made smaller and narrower, instead I have an overall smaller nose, the tip or "ball" is hard as an olive, and I mean an olive while still on the tree, not good!! and it's been 10 months!!! Time to visit the doc? I feel like I paid for something I didn't get.

I had an open rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago. Hump was removed and symmetry was corrected. However my tip, and the dorsum is very huge and bulbous, extreme swollen. I can't find the old contours my nose. It looks much bigger as it was, also broader. Especially in the mornings. I hope the swelling will gone, however I know my case is the most complicated (bone work, deviated septum, symmetry, hump removal...) Please keep me updated how is your case improves later!

I know what you mean. I just had surgery a little over a month ago on my nose and it is still swollen. I know the doctor can give you a shot of something in your nose to reduce the swelling and soften the scar tissue. I can't remember the name of it, I think it starts with a K... is it kenalog, I dont remember the name but I know what it is...
