How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

2 days post op

I'm home and feeling great! At this point, I guess I'm learning more and more about what I can take and what I can't. I know now that the warm liquids digest better than the cold liquids. I did sorta overdo my walking today so I'm resting. I don't have any pain. Maybe a little gas pain but on a scale it's about a 2...

the waiting game

Okay so I went a few weeks of no testing and no calls to/and from the doctor's office and I started getting anxious. I was thinking omg I know I'm supposed to be doing something. But my health assistant informed me that there'll be some time in between testing and Dr visits where I won't need to do anything but focus on me and my dieting and working out. Right after she said that, I get a call from a surgeon my Dr referred. Hopefully, everything lines up with my benefits, which I know it will. I have awesome insurance. But I go meet with the surgeon on April 15th.. I'll do a review of what I think of him and release his name then. But so far I've lost a bit of weight with this gluten free diet my awesome Dr put me on. I just can't wait for my results post op ????

Impatiently being patient

So as of right now, I'm waiting to do another echo test. They've discovered somethings abnormal about my heart and that my feet are growing numb. I don't have diabetes but the doctor says my body is running towards it. It's like things just keep piling up and only thing I can think about is I DON'T WANNA END UP LIKE HALF THE PEOPLE IN MY FAMILY. 6ft under from diabetes. If anything, I'm more than ready at this point to have my surgery. More than ever before. My lab results did come back normal however my body is low on vitamin D, omega 3s, and I'm anemic. Oh! And my cholesterol is high -_-. So now I've been prescribed belziq and crestor, but I haven't taken any yet. I'm just ready. My insurance require 6 months supervision but do I even have 6 months? Smh
